There is such increased need for cans that the mfg for Pepsi is Crown and Cork mfg. They never have increased operations. And they are behind their capacity to produce. It's not aluminum shortage at all.
Ball corp increased operations and is doing fine with capacity. Pepsi just took the cheaper mfg to do a contract with. I have been moving cans from Cork and Crown to have Ball produce my orders for customers

Production is beyond capacity for formats are 250ml and 187ml. Lead time is 1 year. Not due to aluminum but plant CAPACITY

19.2 are only ran every other month in Mexico. We do not even mfg this can format in the USA. So I suspect capacity will max out soon as Mexico is the only location for the entire US to produce these cans
