TLDR: Cops are whining about how no-one likes them.
Gee, maybe if they didn't go around shooting people's dogs, or giving people that call them arbitrary tickets for violating any million random statutes, putting people in jail for (some) drugs, raiding the wrong houses, protecting their corrupt fellows in the 'blue line', shooting steroids and treating the public like they're Iraqi insurgents, showing up 2 hours after you call them, never even pretending to look for the guy that robbed your house, dragging you to court for going 5mph over the speed limit, people would like them more.
Cry me a river. These thugs brought the hate on themselves, the media is just pandering to a pre-existing condition that they themselves created. They did the bidding of evil politicians, they're as culpable as they are. 'Just doin ma job' is a cowards cry.

It gives the deluded sympathizers an undeserved sense of 'moral superiority' to see another man that harmed no other man or his property have his face stepped on, choked, or even killed. There is a name for this in psychology: Psychopathic delusion. Look what happened to this town in New Jersey when they disbanded the police and simply re-instated a Sheriff and deputies: CRIME DROPPED BY HALF Thread: Camden, NJ, disbanded its Police Force in 2012... crime dropped 50% It's funny, their own 'leaders' are now abandoning them (police), because in truth they were just stupid, rabid dogs put in place to commit their overlords dirty deeds, and to make them money through crimes against the people. These same overlords know that the piper is coming for payment, and they don't want to get swept up in the mob chaos thats coming. The stupid police, however, will still delude themselves that they serve some 'righteous' mandate, deluding themselves into believing their badge absolves them of sin, and will protect them from true justice.
