TLDR: Cops are whining about how no-one likes them.
Gee, maybe if they didn't go around shooting people's dogs, or giving people that call them arbitrary tickets for violating any million random statutes, putting people in jail for (some) drugs, raiding the wrong houses, protecting their corrupt fellows in the 'blue line', shooting steroids and treating the public like they're Iraqi insurgents, showing up 2 hours after you call them, never even pretending to look for the guy that robbed your house, dragging you to court for going 5mph over the speed limit, people would like them more.
Cry me a river. These thugs brought the hate on themselves, the media is just pandering to a pre-existing condition that they themselves created. They did the bidding of evil politicians, they're as culpable as they are. 'Just doin ma job' is a cowards cry.
