NO! What if there's no time to check the photo system? Have to rely on being color IDed to not be abused by cops? Cop here never saw drug use, never should have approached. Could have observed to be SURE. Oh, but then there may not be any drugs left to prosecute him for, if officer waited & observed suspect using last bit. Gotta get the bigger charge & try to bust someone for possession, no good if you only get public intoxication. Imagine how often this exact scenario happens to non-autistic ppl. In this modern age where people have soooo much freedom to do literally just about anything they want and can hide away their secrets rather easily its gotta be tough when faced with patrolling the streets not knowing if someone is mentally ill or strung out of drugs.

Alot of hate for cops lately and sure there are bad apples but given the amount of stress and having to deal with completely unruly people on a daily basis, after a while your mindset starts to get altered when dealing with certain people acting certain ways.

Cops are not to blame for this mess we are dealing with, ultimately its the fact that society itself caters toward lawlessness and immorality and thusly creates guilt free attitudes by so many criminals and addicts. So many people feel they are in the right when a normal sensible mind would easily be able to tell when an action is justified or unjustified.

Its a Society functioning on lawlessness. Police are the ones being shown now as being of no use anymore. Many people choose lawlessness, quick thrills, ego trips over safety, protection and peace.
