Seems like a possible explanation. But, here's why this isn't correct, for many of the NDEs. Many times, now, people, during their NDEs, saw things in the environment, or learned of information, from deceased people while in heaven. This information, was at times, previously unknown, and impossible to know about. After returning to their bodies, the information, was researched and verified to be true down to the exact details. This shows, the experience was not merely a hallucination. |

They greatly changed their life around, became more loving, helpful to others, and more, however, they still believe in a God that's both loving and just, which does include hell as a punishment. Let me ask you a question. In a past post, you stated, I believe that you would save a couple of people during the tribulation. What exactly are you saving them from? If God, is like what New agers state, than, all will be saved, and you won't have to save those two people during the tribulation. So, what exactly are you saving them from? If God, is like what New Agers state, there would be no tribulation, no judgement, and Jesus wouldn't have even needed to die for us. I know how you feel, this, an eternal hell, is hard for me to come to terms with, but, I rather seek truth, even though it may be terrifying, than settle for a feel good lie. |

It's not hard to find subjects for that 1) Finding, NDE's that veridical information is quite difficult. Do you even know what veridical means? 2) You already attributed the NDE's to 'brain damage', so you obviously never came across an NDE, that does contain veridical info. 3) You prematurely reject info, before even examining it. This will ensure, you remain ignorant, and based your conclusion, that life came from lifeless matter, which has zero proof. |

Of course, don't even objectively examine it, before making a conclusion. This will ensure you remain ignorant. Please don't speak of being 'objective' when you repeatedly ONLY post about NDE's pertaining to 'hell' and 'Jesus' in your effort to recruit people to your particular religious faith. You continually neglect all accounts that do not support your cause. Here's a 'medical doctor' (Dr. Sam Parnia) who is recognized as one of the world's leading experts in this field of study and explains how their scientific findings & investigations demonstrate that each individual brings his/her unique & individualized level of conscious awareness and 'level of thought' with him or her into the other dimension and how this influences what that individual experiences during these NDE's. This proves there is no universal 'reality' to this phenomena because the individual's unique level of consciousness/awareness/thoughts is influencing & affecting what is experienced. Start at 1:48:00 mark It is you who will also remain 'ignorant' as long as you continue to try and convince people that your cherry-picked NDE accounts are somehow indicative of a Universal 'reality' that they can expect to experience. You have ZERO knowledge of the soul/consciousness/energy of another individual and you can never know this information. That fact coupled with your limited understanding of this phenomena puts you in no position to be trying to convince others what will happen to them when it's their time to go - yet you continue to try and do so. The objective Doctors & Scientists who study this phenomena for a living would never be so ignorant as to try and push an agenda on others and tell them what they will experience based on some superficial designation of 'atheist' or (insert any other label here). You do a disservice to yourself and to others through your attempts to make an 'appeal to a higher authority' in your campaign to change their belief system through your selective reporting of NDE accounts and your failure to explain to them all the other accounts which do not support your individual perspective and preferred belief system. |

Yea, there's a lot of postive NDEs, that support a heavenly realm. The Bible also speaks of heaven. There's a a lot of negative NDEs, that support a hellish realm. The Bible also speaks of hell. The latter types of NDE's, is what you and nearly all new agers ignore. I examine both. |
