What do you mean by scornful?


2Timothy 2:17

Paul called out those that opposed him and the work he was given by name.

Was he being scornful, Having a vain imagination that YHWH would repay them, and not in a good way.

I can do nothing of myself, and unless He found me faithful in the little things, He would have never given me bigger things.

I will boast in His Works, The Greatest Works on Earth

Does that make me vain?
