Here is another thought to support OP's argument.

If major cities get taken over by "autonomous zones" - it may be argued their votes do not count as part of US votes - since they are non part of US.

So this may benefit Trump re-election - because all this is happening only in liberal cities.

If the government won't handle this shit...then citizens do have the right to take this matter into their own hands, imo.
