Or even bc their parents or spouse did same.

maybe you should take a hint, then. Life is much better without Social Media. GLP is sometimes too much.

Life is too short to waste on that, it truly is. My brother, had such potential, but instead of going to school at night and getting some kind of degree, he was on facebook every night. Working the saaaame job at 46. I hope those "likes" and "upvotes" were worth it.

back in 70's white people would have burned these corporations down for firing people for expressing an opinion. that is what they have always fearing whites doing what these stupid freaks are doing, because whites would be doing it for good reason and would be removing the right people by force

I remember a better time before smartphones and social media (social credit). The early Internet was nice but not worth what it turned into.

I'm sorry, and all due respect, people have always lost jobs for publicly expressing unpopular opinions, or those whose families are loud enough about their opinions which aren't popular. Antisocial Media just provides a much broader target audience and that much more likelihood of employers hearing such things.

Ultimately it comes down to being careful and thoughtful of your speech, and THAT should be common sense. I'm allowed to not believe in the Home Depot values, of course... But if they sign my paycheck it'd be a bad idea to carry around a sign saying so.

It's even worse than that.

An english teacher got fired for teaching homophones (words that sound identical but are different...like close and cloths).

The fools thought homophone was something against gays...didn't matter...the teacher never got his job back.

This was the entire purpose of social media. For Marxists to revolutionize and control the way people interacted. A way to cancel the "fascists"(conservatives) from society. A way around the first amendment.

We need to return to a Nation of thick skinned people, this snowflake attitude we see today is COMMUNIST at its core. The Communist Rules for Revolution specifically says they work to weaken our morals, virtues; honesty, sobriety, continence, faith in the pledged word, ruggedness.

May 1919, in Dusseldorf, Germany, the Allied Forces obtained a copy of the “Communist Rules for Revolution.”

A. Corrupt the young: get them away from religion. Get them interested in sex. Make them superficial; destroy their ruggedness.

B. Get control of all means of publicity thereby:

1. Get peoples’ minds off their government by focusing their attention on athletics, sexy books, plays and other trivialities.

2. Divide people into hostile groups by constantly harping on controversial matters of no importance.

3. Destroy the peoples’ faith in their natural leaders by holding the latter up to contempt, ridicule and obloquy. (speak against, condemnatory utterances)

4. Always preach true democracy; but seize power as fast and as ruthlessly as possible.

5. By encouraging government extravagance, destroy its credit; produce fear of inflation, rising prices and general discontent.

6. Foment unnecessary strikes in vital industries; encourage civil disorders and foster a lenient and soft attitude on the part of government toward these disorders.

7. By special argument cause a breakdown of the old moral virtues; honesty, sobriety, continence, faith in the pledged word, ruggedness.

C. Cause the registration of all firearms on some pretext with a view of confiscation of them and leaving the population helpless.

I shall, thank you for the recommendation. I've watched a few episodes across seasons... It's sort of hit or miss, so never really followed it. I know the writer decided to not do a new season based on the current situations happening in the world, particularly COVID19... Figured there's enough dark reality right now. Not what I'd expect to hear from a writer like that... Gained a lot of respect for him when I read that.

I never defended or supported the kind of behavior that you are describing. I in fact put it down, while explaining what IS.

YOU misinterpreted.. And now you are too invested in your own echoes to admit it.

How sad for you... Eventually maturity will cure you of that, one way or another.

twenty years ago our hs used to do trips with the sports teams, travel to a sister city in europe, had a alt outdoors school ( that has been replaced with a rotc) and the culture was just different. no more of those programs and metal detectors. feel like this generation got cheated from that time that was much better. The dominant culture then was cute with micheal jacksons bad song compared to say a murder anthem today calling out random people . I guess it was corny back then and its real now

Re: Remember when people didnt lose their jobs bc they expressed an opinion on social media?
maybe you should take a hint, then.

Yeah, just shut up, don't pay attention and let your world be taken over further by the satanic elites, and china. That's it.

How about this, always speak up. Sue anyone who harms you for your freedom. And if a judge is a criminal, sick private investigators on him and have his career and life destroyed and keep suing.

Period.

Never give into bullies.
