From what is known, Illuminati is a secret society founded in Baviera in 1776. But the German police found out their domination plans and then arrested their members, so they might even have failed to control the world a long ago and no longer exist. Those who really control the world, Rockefellers, Rothschilds and others, control it way before Illuminati was founded in Baviera. So I guess the "Illuminati" thing is just web distraction, the families that control the world are way older than Illuminati...
