I know a white guy who married a Native American girl.

He and his wife lived on the reservation for awhile. He said Indians don't view 'property' like white people do, at least the Indians he dealt with on the reservation. He said those Indians considered anything owned by anyone else as public property. They'd just help themselves to anything they needed without asking permission. They wouldn't even bother returning the item when they were done using it. Needless to say, he didn't live there long. He got fed up having to chase all over the reservation trying to track down his snow shovel every time it snowed. The marriage didn't last long either. Just saying that some cultures are incompatible with each other. To them, it's just a normal way of life. To white people, that's considered theft!
