You Don't Have to Hide Anymore

It's a teasing game, this thing called life. Yet this life shows you not only who you are but who you could be. Over and over, chapter after chapter, you play the same reels year after year. You play so fine that many will not see you leaving out the front door, the door in which you came in. But I will see you. I saw you when you came in all shy and broken -- I see you as you leave, full-bodied and with a smile.

I sometimes wanted to ravage you for your beauty that won't be defined. But as I moved towards you, you put out your arms. I know that I need not ravage, but love and hold you instead. You make all my old lines seem funny, you make me feel wondrous in your arms. We hear those a talkin' but we let them keep a talkin' cause we know in each others arms we'll be fine.

There's a new fangle click in our view. Their trying to sell a new view. But as I look closely, I see only you for you are the one in my view. Still we hear murmurs around. Like little busy bees buzzing around. It bothers not us, for we've taken the bus to that land that only we can see.

You see we've seen it all before. We just didn't know how to go through the open door. But those things we did before, we do different now. And we know that was the clue all the while.

So, if any advice is to given here, it's move on, keep moving, and keep being clear. Know that you live inside that dream world of yours. If you must leave, leave by the front door. Cause you don't have to hide anymore.
