Why do some of you claim to be part Cherokee

I get mistaken for being Mexican all the time.

We are all mixed, plus people think native americans are mystical and noble. In fact, can we return the country back to all the Tribes now?

If your family has been in America for the past 2 or 3 hundred years, it may not be as unusual as you seem to think. Georgia was heavily wooded. Some parts were slow to settle. The women who could survive were native American.

I’m Choctaw/Apache on my moms side. We have a number. On dads his mom was Cherokee and Irish. Truth is the US is a melting pot and we are of mixed heritage. All of us. It doesn’t matter for your life is what you make it and we’re all US citizens. Americans.
