Re: Mandela Effect: Do You Believe?
for me it was the continents not being as i remembered them. i don't just mean i "remembered" their positions, i mean i'd stare at a globe in my room and knew a lot about geography. south america was never that far east, it's impossible that it could BE that far east, and yet it is.
why did i send myself to this world?? there must have been a reason.

A lot of them are poor memory issues but the dolly without braces was the one that got me. I loved the bond films and I know that's what she had in common with jaws. Her Braces!

The actual north pole is now in the Ocean.

Greenland is now huge, it was tiny a few years ago.

The rock/island of gibraltar is no longer an island.

Australia has moved north and is no longer the land dowm under.. Chile, Argentina are nearly a 1000 miles below Oz now.

Re: Mandela Effect: Do You Believe?

The title still quotes the original cite..

This is very interesting, because there seem to be these remains, that haven't been altered (at least until now).

I think this seems to point to the fact, that they somehow change something in the past. But they cannot change the small details all around this topic.

Like for example the search enginge entries, which cleary show the searches for the old or original cites and quotes and stuff. And you can see in statistics, that the entries with the newer version overlap at some point. If I remember it right, these overlaps were around the time, when CERN first started the Hadron Collider.

Also look at the comments beneath the video.
The people remember the original quotes.

Re: Mandela Effect: Do You Believe?
One thing I know for certain:

My Mandela Effect moment - Dolly had braces in Moonraker - she doesn't have braces anymore:

Moonraker, Jaws meets his metal mouth match in Dolly. I remember my brothers and I watching the movie and laughing at that scene because Dolly had a mouth full of metal braces. Now she doesn't. Many sites, books, etc describe the scene that is now erased:

[link to i.imgur.com (secure)]

And this:

"people remember a scene from the James Bond movie, Moonraker, in which a young blonde girl with pigtail braids and braces shares a romantic moment with the character Jaws with both of them noticing how they share a good deal of metal in their smiles. Now there is no such scene because the blonde girl, Dolly no longer wears braces in the movie at all... “It’s not just me who is blown away by this. I asked Roberta Lipp, author of The Ultimate James Bond Fan Book. She too was flabbergasted by the “disappearance” of the braces. It makes no sense for the braces to be gone, both visually from memory and as movie plot device the braces are the reason the beauty bonds with the beast, it makes sense organically to the plot and it’s a visual gag to boot. I know this is not a confabulation in my head and several other people have backed me on it.”

same for me, Dolly had braces, same style like jaws, I remember Dolly's braces as big.

what is of interest by me is if there are people out there who had 'mandela-experiences' not related to movies and such, but for example within their family or workplace.

i myself for example remember that there was a tiled stove in my grandmothers house. there was kind of a tiled bench attached on which you could sit of even sleep when it was not too hot. i sat and slept alot on this tiled bench.

about 20 years after her death, family met for christmas and we spoke about the old times. i told them how i loved to sit or sleep on that tiled bench. when i said that, the room became very very quiet (lol), they looked at me as if i've lost my mind. then my cousin said "There was never a tiled stove in my grandmothers house".

Strongly disbelieve. It is the power of the mind to fill in the details when you pay attention less than you think you do. It illustrates how much of what we see is what we think is there, not what is actually there. It is an extremely powerful lesson for that reason even though it is incorrect.

Yes it's real. I first noticed it in 2010 when my girlfriend and I were getting ready to go to Myrtle Beach. I went to the grocery first to pick up some snacks for the trip and noticed Oscar Mayer instead of Meyer, then noticed a few more brand names that had changed. I remember being pretty tripped out and linking the changes to our new digital age but didn't think about much after that until it went viral a few years later.

Re: Mandela Effect: Do You Believe?
I was just talking to my boyfriend about karate kid’s headband being a blue flower now. My brother must have watched that movie (and therefore me) 100 times and I remember clearly the rising sun with rays headband. For godd’s sake do you know how many flowers are in every detail of my life? I would have noticed and remembered if it was a flower. It was a red rising sun, not a blue flower.

I do not have any tattoos but the only one I have ever wanted was the rising sun because of this movie. I remember being like 14 years old... 1997ish... I have a Vivid memory where I was explaining to a girlfriend at the time that I wanted the rising sun tattoo on my forearm and going on to explain having always had wanted since seeing that movie.

Interesting!

I noticed ''Mirror Mirror on the wall'' change in the late 90's or early 00's

Also for me it was Sex and the City from 1998-2004 then it was Sex in the City up until a few years ago when it changed back. cool2

Thats a big one.. i even remember the bologna song spelling it out.

Whats most interesting is that in every mandela effect theres 2 groups. One swears it was one way, and the other swears it was the other way. Like 2 dimensions have been mashed together.
Im surprised there havent been any cases where something is remembered 3+ different ways(as far as i know)

Re: Mandela Effect: Do You Believe?
Fully believe in the Mandela Effect.

Just a sampling of the ones I've noticed:

Human Anatomy

- The kidneys are now higher and behind the ribcage, whereas they used to be lower and unprotected (necessitating rules against the "kidney punch" in contact sports)

- The stomach is now much higher and to the left instead of centered (? Very strange!)

- The heart is now more centered instead of off to the left

- Eye sockets in the skull are now filled in with bone, when they used to have an opening to the brain
(Remember the scene in the Indiana Jones movie with the snakes coming out of the eye sockets of a skull?? Wouldn't work now!)

- We now have floating ribs in the back

- Liver is larger

And in my old timelines:

- The Thinker statue by Rodin sat fist-to-forehead and didn't wear a cap

- The sun was yellow, not bright white

- Airplane engines were positioned mostly under the wing, not mostly ahead of the wing

- The Karate Kid wore a red sunburst headband, not w/a dark blue lotus flower

- Ed McMahon worked for Publisher's Clearinghouse and delivered giant novelty checks

- The Ford logo "F" didn't have a looped flourish

- The VW logo didn't have a horizontal slit

- The Volvo logo didn't include an arrow

- Richard Simmons wore headbands

- Bob Hope sang "Thanks For the Memories," not "Thanks For the Memory"

- Gilligan had a white cap, not tan

- Dolly from the Moonraker movie had braces

....And many more, including a few personal ones... ;)

"Reality" is apparently far from fixed. Let's focus on coalescing the best/most trancendent timeline possible!

Re: Mandela Effect: Do You Believe?
Did a quick experiment with my family though. My sister agrees with both of my memories, even without loading the questions. My mom doesnt remember most of these at all, which is weird, because most are from her era. Whats odd, and possibly points towards it not being real (although thats not what i think), is that its not as if certain people believe in all the mandela effects being one way, and certain people remember them all the other way. That would make the most sense. But people agree on some and disagree on others. Yall have any theories as to why that is?

Also, ive heard the hadron collider first started being used around 2008. Mandela effect came into effect around 2009(dont know if they had no name for the phenomenon before that, or if it wasnt happening). Could be a cause like some have said.

It's more, I've spent time in each ...dimention.... I think pre 90s is in a different flux. Things change back but it all so similar, I am not sure. I had actual proof on an issue at work. I showed some and they recall but younger people do not.
