It really is a thankless job and once the mother finds an upgrade You are quickly cast aside and forgotten. The child might call You if they need money but visits for Christmas or holidays forget that because mom is more important.

Lol, most fathers these days get way too much credit. They quit their jobs as soon as their wives give birth, so they can be "stay at home dads" (watch porn and play video games, plop their children in front of a TV and feed them junk food). Then they put on a big show on social media, and bask in the chorus of "superdad".

But, yes, if you're not one of those, and really are the one bringing home the bacon for your family, and you show up for their extracurriculars- then I salute you.

I would treat you like gold if I had a good husband who took care of me and our family.

I wish that the roles of men, women, and children had not been so confused and upset.

There is a balance and all are happy when that balance is kept and males and females stick to their roles.
