I only saw the part of that interview where Don Lemon gave Jussie a softball opening to enable him to "save face," and explain that the whole thing was a big misunderstanding (as opposed to a "hoax," which this is not!), but he squandered the opportunity with more race-baiting logic along the lines of "It doesn't matter that it's been in the garage since at least October 2019! It's still a NOOSE!!" So Bubba Smollett is a MORAN, and he'll pay for that. He's the new Colon Krapperstick! I don't expect the NASCAR (NooseCAR?) fans to forget this. Sorry to quote myself (bad form!) but I wanted to point out that Jussie's logic is just like Dan Rather and the fake Nation Guard documents in 2000 right before the election. Remember that? After getting caught trying to use phony National Guard documents to try to sink GWB's Presidential hopes, Dan Rather did the talk show circuit on his "apology tour" and said (paraphrasing) "It doesn't matter that the documents were fake, because 'we' know these allegations to be true!"
