The news articles won't paint your protests as anything other than nazi filth planning a take over of the country if they cover it at all. I've seen the washington mall filled with protesters without a single story covering it in the media. Protests are not nor have they ever been a way of affecting change for the better. Without leadership it quickly devolves into anarchy. Protests get co opted quickly by people smart enough to steer them in the very direction you wish to avoid.
