I had a vivid dream, years ago. Everyone was in progress marching to get on the magnificent ships to be taken off planet. To be saved from some "catastrophe".
But then I started to doubt for some reason. So I tarried a bit, and then stopped on a nearby hillside to watch the people get lifted into the ships. A terrible feeling grew in my gut. And I begged my family not to go. Most continued on despite my pleading.
Then, after a time, when everyone had already boarded that had made that decision, we heard the unmistakable chorus of thousands of screams coming from the ships and I was filled with dread for those that had boarded.

I know I dreamt this for a reason.
