no mate

20 000 000 000 billions

/ 330 000 000 million Americans

= 60 bucks each

but if you go count the trillions that Trump has given to the corporations, wall street and banks in last year, they you could be talking about millionares

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77055657

How many trillions has Trump given to corporations?

It's Congress that sets the budget.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78116532

This!

Why do you think military projects get funded. Only when there's a manufacturer of some expensive part in all the (voting) Congressmens districts?
Otherwise they vote "No"

Food Stamp(SNAP) budget for 2020 was $95 billion, 4 times NASA's.

What return on investment of $95 billion? ZERO

NASA has produced, microprocessors, communication satellite, weather satellites. In short an invaluable amount of technology.

NASA, through its research and advancement of science, has done more to advance the human condition than any government organization in the history of the world. It is expensive and inefficient, as is the nature of government. Still, it is a tiny fraction of the government budget and accomplishes more than any other government agency except perhaps the military.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77732153

Wrong by light years.

NASA contributions pale compared to those of even military R&D.

Human space flight is big bucks for show.

Robotic/unmanned space flight is relatively low cost and does provide useful knowledge.

If you know for sure that all NASA space missions are fake, what can you do about it?

I mean moon landing, Mars mission, ISS, Hubble telescope, etc are all fake.

I know for sure, all I can do is to rant on glp and fb.

So depressed, glad I have weed to smoke, fuck NASA.

It is you who are wrong. NASA has contributed vastly more than juman and robotic space flight. Most of the tech in your smart phone originated with NASA R&D. Microprocessors, physics, astronomy, electronics, and the list goes on and on.

Don’t believe me-google it for yourself.

Divided by 365 is 63 million a day. There are 328 million people in the US. This money could buy every person in the US a million-dollar home in 5.2 days...but we would rather have cgi and dreams of living on mars.

Oh I get it, you're one of those soy cuckboys that don't believe in space and that the earth is flat....

Problem is, you don't realize where all the money goes. What kinds of research it's spent on.

I'll help you out. Just look at where the money goes HERE

NASA can eventually go fetch an asteroid and tow it to near earth orbit. the Asteroid would be worth many quintillion dollars because of its rare earth metals.

It's more than that, it's $32.35 Billion for 2023

Food stamps (SNAP) is $67.2 Billion for 2023

[link to www.usaspending.gov (secure)]

As a return on investment, we got weather, communication and GPS satellites. Micro processors and microwave ovens from the space program.

Food stamps just gets more people looking for handouts.
