Floods have down through history been the scourge of the gods in China. Flood control measures have always been unsuccessful in the end against the mighty Yangtze. In 1931, over 3 million died in Yangtze floods.

Watch China do their usual routine with any disaster:

1. Deny the problem, or deny the event.

2. Ban any discussion on any media.

4. Arrest anybody who mentions it.

3. When discussion can't be avoided, issue media guidelines on how to handle it, minimize it, hide it on the back pages of the newspaper.

4.Blame somebody for it, but not the CCP.

5. Send in the Army to remedy it, and publicize what a magnificent job they are doing to glorify the Party.

6. Arrest some minor official for causing it.

6. Try and execute the official to purge the wrongdoing and wrongdoer from the CCP.

It seems pretty evident that there is a good chance this dam will fail and 10s of millions of people will be in danger.

Is the CCP even suggesting that those who can evacuate do so?

No.

Hope fully enough Chinese can break the internet barricade to somehow get the word out, despite heavy censorship.
