"If you are not in sin you can ask Jesus to do things, but if you are sin Jesus will not answer just anything but only prayers of repentance. When you have the Holy Spirit Jesus turns and faces you to listen. When you sin, Jesus turns from you and is not looking at you and not listening, but waiting to listen for those prayers of repentance, seek g forgiveness not only just for the ones but for all the sins."

I've repented of everything I know to repent of and I'm following Jesus to the very best of my ability from where I'm currently at in my life.

I'm praying diligently that God would restore my marriage. Pray for my wife and I (Jon and Diana) to be reconciled if you would. It means the world to me.

I got an encouraging word for you(not from lord but my personal wisdom)

Sabbath existed before the law and it exists forever. Two covenants were given to Israel. Ten Commandments and the laws through Moses. The Moses laws had fault. Ten Commandments perfect and holy. The new covenant is god will write his Law(Ten Commandments) on people’s hearts and minds. Catholic Church Co changed sabbath from Saturday to Sunday and they brag about it, saying they have more authority than God.

So my whole point is this. God gave an amazing promise in multiple places concerning the sabbath. First in the Ten Commandments. He says he sanctified it. Second in Isaiah. The sabbath is Friday sundown to Saturday sundown. Very interesting when the world parties right? Satan is not dumb.

If you begin to observe the sabbath, you will be blessed majorly in diff areas. Greatest blessing is a desire to obey god and grace to actually follow through with walking right. Satan does not want people to receive the special blessing every week.

Last thing, do not let any man judge you regarding the sabbath and what you do. That is between you and God. Have fun. Put away your normal worldly desires and especially financial gain/job work, Even if you think you need it to survive. It’s ok to go on a walk or till your moms garden for her etc. God knows your heart. Good luck brother in Christ.

Your prayer is more important to me.

I already keep the Sabbath on Saturday. I do no work, buying/selling, cooking, etc (unless it's like an emergency or an oversight).

I only eat kosher foods. I don't eat pork, shellfish, etc.

This year I kept my first Passover dinner and I kept the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

No one ever got the Holy Spirit for keeping the Sabbath, we get it through faith in Jesus not by works. The new testament, spiritual meaning of the Sabbath is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Sabbath and the Sabbath is the Holy Spirit. Jesus said:

St. Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Sabbath).

He's talking about giving an actual thing, actual Sabbath, actual rest, the Holy Spirit. When you plug in the Holy Spirit where Sabbath is you see this:

Exodus 20:8 Remember the Holy Spirit, to keep it holy.

Remember the Holy Spirit (God). And to keep it holy?

St. John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

And if you keep his commandments?

St. John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

And

St. John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
...
St. John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

So keeping his commandments is remaining in his will and he will keep his Holy Spirit in you. That is the true Sabbath.

It's not about one day and is why Paul said let no man judge you of sabbaths.

When I was tempted and began to keep the old laws as best as I could it messed me up big time. It's why Jesus through him says this:

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
Galatians 5:2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be c!rcumc!sed, Christ shall profit you nothing.
Galatians 5:3 For I testify again to every man that is c!rcumc!sed, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
Galatians 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
Galatians 5:5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
Galatians 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither c!rcumc!sion availeth any thing, nor unc!rcumc!sion; but faith which worketh by love.

Think of how Jesus wants you to be.

St. Matthew 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

He wants you to be free to love not forced to love.
