It’s a National Park and a Heritage Site The Indians are in the process of carving a competing sculpture that is splendid nearby - they have a nice “tourist trap” from which it can be seen - and do programs for the tourists like ceremonial dances - educational and entertaining and the gift shop was exceptional The CRAZY HORSE memorial is spectacular and of a grand scale ! I hope they finish it - work is ongoing and needs donations and years to finish Just donate to their response of raising their hero and leave our monument To each his own  |

Anyone who loves this country could not advocate for it's destruction. Haven't seen it at night but the person with me wanted to see it and she did the helicopter flyover during the day. Who is calling for it's destruction? |

They WOULD have the National Guard there, and using guns if they had to. I bet they have increased security on it right now. Trivia: That monument is so huge, that a Volkswagen can fit into the PUPILS of the presidents' eyes. Sturgis 2020 is happening this year. Cut through the Res instead of taking 90 it is quicker and has more services. |
