I had it late Feb.....didn't go to get tested cuz the hospitals were very busy....I had the mild symptoms like body ache, low fever that came and went without warning, shortness of breath, and bone dry nose/sinuses.....I never had a cold or flu with a dry nose before....

The symptoms persisted for 1 1/2 month before subsiding....my confirmation was my wife who caught it from me.....she exhibited the same symptoms....

I since been tested for antibodies which came back negative.....my wife still has the low grade fever that came back infrequently and last a day.....

my nephew [20] had a really bad respiratory flu this winter that lasted about two weeks, the worst of which kept him bed-bound. i suspect severe bronchitis but he was never tested for COVID [and we know how THAT can be].

if you look back at GLP's "i've never been so sick" threads you'll see that such flus were not unheard of in previous years. and if my nephew was 80 not 20 he could have succumbed to his virus...my conclusion? "same crap, different year".

i hate what's going on but can you blame bad people in charge for exploiting "the stupid"?

"the stupid" is a very big problem.

Re: Who Has Had Covid 19 Here on GLP? Share your experience, please!
I have a fair amount of online friends who have had this, but counting only people in real life, 2 definitely and my husband very likely.

One has recovered and has antibodies, but is still experiencing shortness of breath and intense joint pain. Had no preexisting conditions and was very ill for over a month. The other was elderly but didn't have anything other than arthritis and he died from it in about a week from the appearance of symptoms.

My husband has RA and Lyme and has been feeling very unwell for a week. We've been very careful and doing an herbal and vitamin prophylaxis. But we're in an "Antimask League - There is no pathogen" stronghold. So now he has a dry cough, low grade fever, extreme exhaustion, gastric distress, constant headache, and brain fog.

To clarify, prophylaxis is only a mitigation methodology, not a force field or positive pressure biohazard suit.

I have no faith in the PCR test, so we are going to do treatment and then see about getting an antibody test.

Lyme is a nasty thing; it aggravates RA (mom had both). Any time the body is stressed, i.e. nasty virus, the lyme will come raging back.

Dad is a Lyme carrier and does everything he can to avoid getting viruses; Vitamin C and D for cell health and immunity plus Epicor daily and zinc as soon as there's exposure or the tiniest of symptoms (can use smart mouth 24 hour mouthwash if you can't stomach the zinc).

My 96 year old great great Aunt supposedly had it, she is in a nursing home but had no symptoms.
Something went through the office in Feb, but no one was tested. Whatever it was was nasty.

I don't know anyone that has had it.
We suspect many of us may have had it back in December.

I have heard of one person knew a man that tested positive but he said he had no symptoms other than fatigue. Took about two weeks to feel normal.

Apparently reading is not one of your skills. Several people on this thread (including me) have had experience with the bat aids. One of my sons had it and was out of work for 8 weeks, because he couldn't pass the temperature screening. Fortunately, I am retired and never had to pass any screening.

Recovery is slow, but taking all the GLP cures seemed to help. About the only one I didn't take from the start was the Clear Lungs. I started that during my recovery, and it really didn't seem to make a difference. I don't believe there is anything you can do to get the temperature back to normal or the lung function, except give it time. My normal temperature is quite low, so I could have passed a screening after the first week, but my "normal" may be a a full one degree higher now. Maybe it will continue to come down, I don't know. It's still under 98.6.
Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

That sounds like the flu that was going around in November and December. The major difference with Bat Aids is lung function. If you could still breath, it probably was not the Chinese virus. I know a lot of people that had that flu in December, it was bad. In some cases it hung on for weeks. When I had the Wu-flu, I had to use an oxygen concentrator at nigh or I would wake up gasping for breath.
Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

My 80 year old mom tested positive after volunteering at a nursing home that had an outbreak. But she made a full recovery without ever having to go to the hospital. She said that it wasn't any worse than any of the other times that she has been sick, except for losing her sense of taste of smell, which still hasn't fully returned.

Only a complete idiot. How in the Fuck do you think they are going to trace us? Via Social media idiots, and sites like GLP.

Oh God for fucks sake life isn't worth living anymore. People are so fucking stupid why keep living, to have these stupid conversations over and over?

Living is barely worth it under Covid, If it get worse there will be mass suicides and I'll be one of them. This is what is going to need to happen before people finally wake up to the reality of this. A mass culling.

I am falling in this camp to some degree but remain open minded.

I'm relatively healthy, knock on wood, but even in my younger years when built like a tank, I've had a couple of flu cases that kicked my ass. But survived them all with no issues, except in a couple of cases, I remember things coming back and/or perhaps catching something else while weak.

But if older and not in good shape, couldnt a regular flu like I've had in the past not only kckbyour ass but screw up your system making you vulnerable to other complications? Most likely so. Then throw in hysteria, power of the mind filled with fear, then voila, you croak.

If this is something other than a survivable virus as some conspiracy threads allege, i.e. a genetically altered virus designed to re-inflict or alter your DNA, then the government needs to tell us. Then they need to bomb the shit out of those who created it. I'm not jumping to the conclusion that it was China. The Derp Staters could set up anyone to make it look like someone else did it. They do it with everything else.

I know personally two people at work . One actually had it and he gone for 14 days. To him It was just like the flu; not even as bad.

The 2nd guy also tested but he tested negative but still was sick ; had pneumonia and what not.

Some of my sister in laws parents tested positive.

Certain ATC cenrters have closed during thee morning when there are less flights so it’s easiesr to clean due to the Great Covid Crisis of 2020.

...I used an oxygen concentrator at night for a week because my O2 sats crashed when I laid down...
 Quoting: Epic Beard Guy

I'm pretty sure my 90 year old Dad died of it back in mid-February. Back then in Florida they weren't testing for it, and he had been on Hospice Home care for over a year and Bed-bound for over 2 years. His problem was his hips had gone out and he couldn't stand/walk, otherwise he was fine. In fact Hospice didn't know what to do with him, he was in better shape after a year than he was when he was placed on Hospice.

I'm pretty sure he caught it from one of the Hospice workers, she had been out sick for over a week. Basically, three workers visited him on a Friday, he picked up a cough on Saturday, got worse on Sunday, woke up Monday saying he couldn't breathe, and had a much worse and violent cough. His O2 level was down to ~83 from 96. I put him on a C-Pap and had the Hospice people deliver an oxygen concentrator later that day. After observing his cough that morning, the two Hospice Nurses said to give him Morphine. He was dead before Sunrise on Tuesday. Hospice was shocked...He had been perfectly fine on Friday. They listed his death as 'Heart Failure', right, of course the violent cough every minute had nothing to do with it, even though the O2 device showed a large spike in Pulse rate every time he tried to cough. It's a nasty way to go.

I didn't catch a thing, and haven't been sick since the Swine Flu of 2009. I had visited a Grocery and Hardware store while they were giving free vaccines and ended up with a sore throat the next day. Then a runny nose for a couple of days, followed by about three weeks of coughing. Basically it was nothing more than a cold for a few days, except the cough lasted for weeks. I'm now 65 and only had that one illness in over 20 years. Oh, I smoke the small filtered cigars regularly.

For me it was like a super cold that got better and came back over and over for 2+ months with a very fiery feeling in my nose. Then when the respiratory symptoms seemed to finally be clearing up (but I could still feel it in my nose) it spread to my eyes. My eye sockets alternated from inflamed to crusted flaking skin multiple times for a month. It had the same fiery feeling it had in my nose, it felt like I was wearing fiery goggles. At times it looked like I had two black eyes except they were red. It also attacked my ears with the skin on the backs crusting and flaking off. Then as it was easing up on my eyes it spread to the side of my face and down my neck like a splotchy rash to my underarms. Over the last couple weeks that has cleared up and I feel mostly normal.

The thing that has concerned me the most though is the occasional heart pains I've had throughout. I've been taking 120,000 SPU serrapeptase enzyme twice a day for the last 10 days to to prevent abnormal blood clotting. It seems like it has helped me finally start to put this behind me.

"Serrapeptase has fibrinolytic properties. That means it can help stop blood clots from forming. One way it does this is by breaking down the blood-clotting molecule called fibrin. Because it can help remove deposits, such as those formed by excess calcium, plus fight inflammation, serrepeptase may also be useful in stroke prevention."

I went to a wedding in NY in November. One of the guests, a childhood friend of the groom and his wife both got it in March. The man died, his wife survived but had severe neurological symptoms and is not doing well to this day.

My brother's father in law died from it. He was elderly and in a nursing home.

My sister in law is a doctor and treats COVID19 patients. Her nurse got it and was severely ill in ICU on a ventilator. She lived, but had seizures for weeks.

Another medical specialist we know well (diabetes specialist) got it, was quite ill.
She's a triathlon competitor and exceptionally fit. She's better now but has not been able to run or work out and it's six weeks past what she called recovered.

Man! Thank you for this.

For a couple of weeks, my husband was complaining of a nasty kind of searing feeling in his nose. Kind of a cross between an itch and a nerve burn.

We started serrapeptase to help clear arteries, just in case. His stomach issues could have been attributed that, so he cut it out.

So now he will go back on the serrapeptase.

Thank you....This is the first I have heard about a nose sensation in association with Covid.

I voted for 1 or more with COVID but the reality is....I don't know if any of us actually KNOW if anyone has COVID because I don't trust the System at all or their testing. I suspect many of the test kits are contaminated.

One of our relatives, a doctor in NY had it for about 2-3 weeks. It was a bad flu but he's recovered fine, didn't need special treatment.

Another elderly relative in a nursing home is said to have it but she's asymptomatic.

I just received notice from a friend that here mother in law, whom I believe was also in a nursing home, just died from it.

So that's 3 but again....who knows if that's what it was or not.

I actually think I may have had it about 3 years ago (I think this thing is not new, it's been around for a few years, or something very like it) because I had the major symptoms of losing my sense of smell. Still hasn't completely come back. It was the sickest I've been with a flu and lasted for about 3 weeks.

I don't believe anything they're telling us about this and I certainly don't believe in masks. If you're vulnerable, stay out of crowds and WASH YOUR HANDS CONSTANTLY.
