I was Catholic--born and bred, Catechism, Confrmation--the whole nine yards. I have not attended a mass in 30 years (go to non-demoninational).

I still defended the Church against the more extreme and bogus attacks for many years. I quite defending it about 5 years ago. The attacks on the Franciscan Order and others, because they attempt to simply accept basic Christian beliefs, make it clear that the current Chuch is not on our God's side.

Jesus never existed, all those stories in the Bible are metaphors, parables, astronomy, mythology and prophetic that was stolen from Africa.

I don't worry about the petty disagreements about what is true and right by non-Catholic Christians. I read The Holy Bible myself and can see by that and by miracles in the world what is right.

You may believe and avoid all The Sacraments available in a Catholic Church and you may still make it to Heaven in the end. But I follow what Jesus taught (when he picked words and timing very carefully), because he gave The Church to the world. If a food is placed in front of me, I'm directed to eat. There are many allegories in The Bible, check Luke 10:8 and Chapter 7 of Mark (especially verses 14-23).

when you have 2 parents that look white, but have black genes, you can wind up with black kids.
