I have very few posessions and I have nothing worth killing for.

I don't have any loved ones that I need to protect.

I like life simple and not always living afraid that someone will take something from me or hurt me.

One last thing. You have thus far seemed fairly adamant that you will never own a gun, so how come in your thread title you say "probably"? It almost seems as if there is still the possibility that one day you might in fact own one!

As I said in earlier posts, I have owned a gun since I was around 6 years old. My families have always had guns around the house for hunting and protection.

I honorably served 6 years in the military.

I also would not rule out picking up a gun again if I felt like it was the thing to do, but I just don't feel confortable with the gun madness in the world right now and I refuse to be part of it.

But, it would be the worse day of my life if I had to do that.

Hey, OP, how many drugs for your mental issues do you take a day?

Every last gunowner I know, (couple of dozen) take NO drugs or need psycho doctors.

Nearly every liberal I know (another couple dozen) have to see the shrink and take psycho-nuutso drugs or they whig out.


This is just one interesting thing that I have noticed over the years.

I don't take any drugs, prescription or otherwise. I never have.

I've seen emotional types get so upset in traffic they say something like,"he's lucky I don't have a gun right now.."

There are people that lack a cool, calculating mind, that get lost in their emotions and act rashly that are better off without firearms. They know who they are and I wouldn't badger them to arm themselves. You can't just shoot people because you're pissed at them.
