I believe in the Almighty but realities of the world aren't found the the pages of any holy text.

The reality is that evil wins a LOT of the time. It wins on a daily basis in places that most don't even know exist. It wins when people succmb to their base instincts. It wins when people allow it to happen. It exists in every primrose path and every "ends justify the means" cop out.

The reason evil wins often: free will. It's also the reason that things don't happen by God's will. They happen by people making choices, sometimes when they weren't aware there was a choice. Sometimes when the choice is between doing the right thing or dying in vain like hundreds of billions of people have before.

God won't get us out of this mess. Believing can halp you get through, but this isn't "The Stand" where the literal had of God saves the day at the end.

This fight may be biblical, but it will be fought by people like you and me. It will be fought when we stand up and say "not today, not on my watch".

Either that, or we will go away quietly waiting for divine intervention that never comes.

Just as an example to my point: how many ge ws in the 30's waited for their salvation? Went into the ghettos, got on the trucks, prayed their hearts out for deliverance and end to the madness? Had faith that the evil would be destroyed because God conquers all?

The answer is millions, and millions of them died. But not just died, they were torture, experimented on, left to waste away, made to kill their kin or bury the bodies.

The same story plays out over history, against people regardless of skin color.
