I for one know 1st hand what section 8 does to a neighborhood. I used to live in a quiet, clean, crime free area until section 8 started to be accepted. It used to be just whites and some Hispanics but the minute blacks moved in for section 8 the crime shot up big time...Now the local gas station is used as a hang out and its been robbed repeatedly. Where the fuck did so many lazy blacks come from?

If a homeowner next to you sells his property to me and I build a 5 story economy apartment on the land, will you whine like a baby to the government to protect you and keep prices inflated, or let capitalism allow prices to fall so more people can afford housing? If I move out the neighborhood to a red state, are you going to whine you have no tax base to pay your government pensions? Free market mean I can move away from your section 8 and high rises. Burn down the fucking place and see how that works for you.
