It says inactive too correct? I think the OP of this post is trying to get people to fuck up their phones, google is a system app, you need to install a completely new rom for your phone if you want ot get google off it, and then you will be extremely limited in what you can do with it.

But it still had location on! So I had to turn it off.

it uses bluetooth and location, mine isn't active and won't be unless i install the app that is required to use it and turn on location and bluetooth which I always have disabled since the beginning of time, because I worked as a software dev and know the creepy shit employers ask from their programmers.

Mine says I have to download my local health department's app for it to work. They're saying this is just the os for COVID apps.

Simplest way to combat this scourge, don't carry your phone on you. Leave it in the car, at home. You don't really need it all the time, do you?

Would it work if we just DISABLE 'Find my phone' & let the covid app remain..??

Ok....i found my problem here. Google installed a 42Mb patch 2 days ago. It cannot be disabled or bypassed. Check yours and see if its above the original play store service file. That one was 300+Mb and allowed me to bypass the covid feature. The new patch, puts the feature back into the system and looks to be embedded into the IOS. Nice

How to tell if your phone has
Covid 19 installed AND HOW to remove it:
Step 1. Go to Settings
Step 2. Click on GOOGLE
If you see COVID 19 at the top of the list you have it on your phone.
How to remove it?
Step 1. Click on PLAY STORE and then SETTINGS and change to DO NOT AUTOUPDATE APPS. Then go to your main screen and go to step 2.

Step 2. Go to Settings then go to SECURITY AND LOCATION under Settings and shut off "FIND MY DEVICE".

Step 3. This is the most important part. Make sure your phone is backed up. Go to settings again and then go to APPS AND NOTIFICATIONS (SOME PHONES WILL SAY APPLICATIONS)

Step 4. Then click where it says SEE ALL APPS Step 5. Look for GooglePLAYservices and click that Then on the top right click the 3 vertical dots and click Uninstall updates (If you don't see the 3 vertical lines some phones require you to click ADVANCED OPTIONS there and then the vertical lines show up).
This takes about 20 seconds so wait about 20 seconds. Now go back to step 1 and see if it's
gone. Congratulations you just got rid of it! Let me know in comments section if you had covid 19 on your phone also and if it removed it. God bless!
I would suggest NOT updating Google until the Scamdemic passes. You can update your other apps but I recommend don't update google.
It is my personal opinion that the Scamdemic is being used to usher in the evil of socialism and the New World Order so I say this covid 19 app can go to hell where it belongs. This should be a CHOICE if you want this on your cell phone or not.
