Adventures n Divoce Court today.....

So i was suppose to get divorced today after 3 years of divorce court, instead the Judge saw my previous divoce decree from Canada and says he doesnt think its legal for in my state.
Has this happened to anybody else?
I am a US citizen, who briefly married a Canadian in Hawaii and got divorced almost 30 years ago in Canada.
I had a wedding planned for tomarrow....
