I don't see him leading in the usual way. Casual observers would not see him as leading at all. I see him allowing others to lead (or at least appearing to do so), him standing aside and asking pertinent questions when the need arises.

In what I envision, no one would be played in the sense that they are unscrupulously used for only another's advantage. He would make sure the system is not set up that way, nor would those appointed consciously seek that sort of thing. His greatest joy would be to see everything run the right way, to show the world the incredible peace and happiness for all that can be achieved when ego is defeated. The contrast to this world would (will?) be something to behold

I concede it is not all, your right, and I'm convinced he walks a lonely path.

Even those closest to him may not know or realize, maybe he doesn't even know fully.

My truth is there are many who claim truth through hubris who do not know what the truth can possibly be.

I agree with all of that, except, you say he doesn't speak. I say he probably has spoken to some, but few care or notice. This world only cares about those who shout from the rooftops about their greatness, about those who make a big scene, about those who have collected large sums of wealth for themselves. His very nature is antithetical to the world's -- he cannot be that way. It will be quite interesting to see how then he's going to be revealed

seems like it was something i accepted so very long ago it means so little to me really.

That comes from within for others and myself, not a singular "him" who walks the earth. So maybe you do see but for whatever reason you continue to choose to hold out hope that a singular "him" will appear to reveal what you have already experienced yourself. Choosing to continue to encourage others to do the same, feeding their egos, instead of showing them he/she are already present inside.
