Also "Dumbing us down: The hidden curriculum of compulsory schooling" Is a great one. |

This interview is unbelievable. It goes into some very shocking information about the formation of schooling. I will admit they go down some real intellectual pathways but give it a chance. He tells about the REAL history of the USA. This was at a time when Mr. Gatto was somewhat unhealthy so he speaks rather slowly. I speed up the youtube video a bit to be able to get through it quicker. Take time over the next several days to nickel and dime the whole interview. You wont regret it. |

The tell here is his undisguised jollity while describing how thousands would lose their jobs, but that they were of no consequence. Look at him. Watch the clip several times, if need be. He’s not laughing with us, he’s laughing at us. |
