He was very convincing in his stories of his experiences there, and with the other people he had met through the institute. I was very tempted to go myself, but never had the opportunity to do so. Quoting: 2XSecretAgentI was very tempted to go myself, but never had the opportunity to do so. I'd love to go as well. It's like $2000 though, plus airfare. Pretty steep. But I'm sure it would be an interesting experience, at the very least. The home hemisync stuff is good for relaxation, meditative states and all that, but it won't do any of the hard work for you. |

2XSecretAgent User ID: 270257 United States 10/03/2007 12:48 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | YES I practiced with hemi-sync earlier in the year it is really amazing, honestly I didn't pursue it as much after the first week because it ended up scaring me how deep it took me down the rabbit hole. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 290624This is one of the reasons I didn't pursue this. Not sure I want to go where it could take me. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 290624Would you elaborate on this a bit for me? Were you getting in to the astral projection stuff, or the out of body experience? Why would you get scared? |

I found you get happier, more ambitious, less prone to self-destructive thoughts and behaviour, you develop a strong desire to grow and prosper and achieve. I have a feeling it's great for depression and addiction. If you're trying to work with The Secret, it would really get your mind clear and focused for bringing positive things into your life. That's my own personal experience with hemi-synch. It's not psychedelic candy that will open portals to other dimensions- LOL. |

The visualizations they talk you through to coincide with moments where you fall further and further into the focus levels got very vivid, so it became almost a light lucid dream, but the fear I had was a lot like the fear of learning to swim, the terror of it, learning this stuff really is like learning to walk. But another real fear is that the out of body stuff, which was my goal, you have to pass through a certain gateway before achieving that, and part of the gateway is sleep paralysis + this pulsing sensation, and this stuff is all subtle as a brick, it's so intense. but I'm planning on continuing this journey ASAP |

Ok, I was just talking about listening to a hemi-synch CD with a binaural beat on it. Nothing too complicated. |

Man, you would not believe the world I saw after eating mushrooms!! I still see it today, and it's been four years since I last munched. And I'm telling you, a 1/4 oz. down the gullet, and I could sit and watch these videos 'till my eyes dry out! But yeah, I never expect no hyper- dimensional portal or anything, though I did notice in some torrents there were tracks about astral projection and the like. Very interesting to me. I also found and downloaded that brainwave generator the other ac mentioned, I believe one of the links above will get you to it. Can't wait to see what that's all about! |
