Why does all the hysteria with Covid19 remind me incredibly strongly of the times when the HIV virus was discovered?

Is it possible that every young generation has to be strongly stressed in order to be able to control it according to the system?
It used to be World War I, then World War II, then the constant threat of nuclear weapons, then the HIV pandemic, and now once again a puny something that is spreading like wildfire? I see a power-sapping systematization behind it, which should spoil the fun of life for young people!
