Our cupboard is PACKED with Goya Products! Black Beans, Pinto Beans, "Habichuelas," GUAVA PASTE (UMMMM UMMMM GOOD!), You name the Goya product, WE'VE GOT IT!!!

I make my own beans in a pressure cooker, my family does since forever. But if you ever come up short and you're having family over, you add a can of Goya beans to make more. They're products have always been a high quality standard and always taste fresh.

I am not a paid spokesperson, I just REALLY LOVE GOYA!

And now, due to their honesty, THEIR SUPPORT FOR OUR PRESIDENT, WHO IS DOING EVERYTHING HE CAN TO BRING JOBS, PROSPERITY (SAFETY & SECURITY) TO AMERICANS) I WILL ALWAYS LOVE GOYA!

Proceed.

What an asshole!

I happen to be from Brasil, my family. We all speak Brasilean Portuguese, fluently and can speak and understand Spanish as well. I was born here and am a proud American citizen.

It is the asshole liberal leftist such as yourself that assumes things about hispanic people. (Brasileans aren't really "Hispanic," they do not speak Spanish, of which the "span" part of that word comes from). I know of many Cuban-Americans who are PROUDLY AMERICAN AND SUPPORT OUR PRESIDENT! The Cubans are hard working, proud American citizens and LOVE FREEDOM! That is why they support President Donald J. Trump.

It is you evil beasts that are destroying this country.

We aren't going to let that happen.

Go to hades and live with your father, satan, ass!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78212539

Oh yes that explains it, racist brazilians and cubans have to much white spaniard/german in them kissing up to whitey and there white debil blood ancestry, there a reason why nazis fled to brazil to establish colonies, thats why your country is killing the native dark skinned tribes there to. Fuck you i travelled to brazil to improve my witch craft, i learned from the Palo masters and know your history better than you. You dont deserve to eat goya beans go to fucking taco bell also you pastey catholic xtian. Brasil needs to expel the bad blood quickly. Keep kissing up to whitey there a special place in hell for betrayers of the blood
 Quoting: Platano Podrio 76487052

80% of we Brasileiros HAVE )EWISH D.N.A. WITHIN US, nazi. Go shove your demonic beast words up your ass!

During the spanish inquisition, the spanish catholic church murdered tens of thousands of )ewish people in the entire Iberian peninsula. Half a million of them fled to the New World, a great number of which was Brasil. They were forced to convert to catholicism or be murdered there, too. The catholic church of Brasil & Portugal kept METICULOUS notes of each man, woman and child they murdered in cold blood, their names, where they lived and how they were murdered.

Nearly all of those names are the most common surnames in not only Brasil but the entire latin world. Peres, Perreira, Sylva, Silveira, Nogueira, Belmonte, Albuquerque, Nunes, Veloso, Campos, de Hollanda, you name the latin name, it has )ewish roots. Some of Brasil's most legendary writers, actors & musicians have those names, all of them have the same exact roots.

Brasil received very few nazis. Brasil fought AGAINST Germany (and the true nazis like you) during WWII. Brasil had MANY casualties during WWII fighting against the nazis. My beloved WWII Vet father was to be on the next transport to Anzio, where they had heavy losses.

The C.EYE.A. IMPORTED DOZENS OF NAZIS TO AMERICA, you have no argument.

Take your commie-leftist poopaganda elsewhere, satan!

i know mexican families who came here legally and in one generation all of their kids went to college, all hard workers, all religious, all have core families with fathers.

You want the model for how it can be done? Ask a Mexican.

Most Hispanics I know, except those with very dark skin do NOT consider themselves black. There are white hispanics and black hispanics.

They do not want to be affiliated with black people, so AOC is going to have a difficult time of it. Notice the silence of the Hispanic community concerning the BLM movement. There are more commie white people who support the movement than hispanics, who are traditional in their values and YES THEY ARE PREDOMINANTLY CHRISTIAN.

Good luck with your division strategy.

Why in the fuck would people with a kitchen open a can to get beans? That's like the lowest dumbest form of eating there is. Beans are so easy to do homemade, and the taste is no comparison. At the height of my fitness routine I soaked beans every two weeks and made homemade vegetarian chilies. I have never tasted anyone else beans or Chile like that homemade I did. Once I ditched the tomatoes and did a green chile, dear lord god (this is reminding me how much I miss my own cooking) You soak the beans in Vegetable or chicken broth as well for extra taste.

Cans are for life or death last resort eating. Stuck in a snowstorm in a ski cabin with no power sort of thing. The idea of voluntarily making a meal from something out of a can is so vile to me, plus just ungodly wasteful. You can buy beans in bulk no bags no nothing. Or at least n a small bag at the regular grocery store. And talk about cheaper. You are throwing money and aluminum down the drain.

Geez people, screw crap foods they are one reason people are obese. Mexican/latino food has to be fresh above all else or it's junk.

How many reasons do you want?
1. cooking beans in the summer heats up the house.
2. Sometimes you only need a can of beans, not a whole pot of them.
3. Cooking them can also stink up the house.
4. Some people are still working and need something fast to make for supper.

And anyway, people are talking about the bags of dry beans that Goya sells, we're not all just buying their canned beans.

I am buying their Plantain Chips and am looking to try their new Black Bean Burgers.

But your post reminds me to make some bean tacos. I put taco seasoning in the beans & use that in place of meat in tacos. Mmm so good.

Just to clarify, GOYA isnt Mexican.

It was founded by a Puerto-Rican couple who had immigrated there from Spain.

Very different type of cuisine than Mexican although there are a few common ingredients.

Goya canned & dried beans are very price competitive and superior quality.

Just found out that they offer frozen Latin meals which I'd love to try.

Especially since Goya beans are so fresh tasting, they are well worth eating. They've always been like that. They are simply good products, that's why people buy them. No one needs to explain this, everyone just knows it. That's why they sell well.

I buy lots of latin food products, not just from Goya. But now that I know that their c.e.o. is proud of his president (and doesn't seem to be caving in to hostile leftist pressure) I will be buying even more Goya products than I normally do (which is quite a lot, already!)

Someone made the suggestion earlier to buy Goya products even if you don't use them, and donate to food banks, soup kitchens, etc.

I think that is a phenomenally GREAT idea. A win/win situation.

I don't think latin-Americans will stop buying Goya foods just because 0'CRAZIO-cortex says to (and others of her leftist, destructive ilk.)

I never bought Goya as I just figured it was for Hispanics (I'm very white bread) but I'm gonna try their stuff out. I want to support people who support America, I don't give a shit what their ethnic background is.
 Quoting: Blue State Rebel

Start with the Adobo (red cap.) Sprinkle it on meat to get aquainted, like a burger patty, steak or chicken. I season both sides with the Adobo and some pepper. You need NOTHING ELSE.

If ya'll want a glimpse of an hispanic's relationship with Adobo, type "Adobo memes" in your search bar.

The devotion borders on religious. Lol
 Quoting: Fortunabeargirl

Although good, Adobo is simply garlic powder, salt and pepper mixed together. Careful when using it though because a little goes a long way, it is extremely salty.

A good dish is black beans and rice.

Restaurants use yellow rice because it is easier to only have one kind of rice.

But black beans should properly be ladled onto a bed of White rice and topped with chopped onions.

It is delicious.

Yellow rice is for Yellow rice and chicken.
Follow the directions on the label and your tongue will thank you.

They have a superior canned red bean also, which will be used in my wife's chilli this week, if they aren't sold out.

In Brasil, it is our national dish.

It is called "Feijoada," pronounced 'fey szshou addah' - the "szshou" part sounds like jus in the term 'au jus,' with sauce, in French.

It can be a simple Feijoada or very complex, which would be a "Feijoada Completa."

All different types of meats are served with it and sausages and chicken, and, and, and... It can boggle the mind how complex it can get. If you've ever been to a Brasilean Steakhouse/Buffet you probably have a good idea. Except those buffet days are probably over for good. Sad.

Usually, I make it with the rice but have the onions sauteed with the meats a little before the pressure cooker lid gets put on the beans. We use a "Knorr" seasoning from Brasil, tempero para feijoada.

After the beans are done in the pressure cooker, they still aren't really done until you mash a few of them in their soup, where it thickens up and we call this a (thick) "chocolate sauce" of feijao, it has to be thicker than just liquid, which is the way the Cubanos serve it, like just a black bean soup. There is a difference.

Re: I've ALWAYS EATEN GOYA PRODUCTS, MY WHOLE FAMILY DOES SINCE THE 1960's!!! WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO FOR ETERNITY!
Francisco Goya, famous painter

30 March 1746 – 16 April 1828) was a Spanish romantic painter and printmaker. He is considered the most important Spanish artist of the late 18th and early 19th centuries and throughout his long career was a commentator and chronicler of his era. Immensely successful in his lifetime, Goya is often referred to as both the last of the Old Masters and the first of the moderns. He was also one of the great portraitists of his time.

Goya was born to a lower-middle-class family in 1746, in Fuendetodos in Aragon. He studied painting from age 14 under José Luzán y Martinez and moved to Madrid to study with Anton Raphael Mengs. He married Josefa Bayeu in 1773; their life was characterised by an almost constant series of pregnancies and miscarriages, and only one child, a son, survived into adulthood. Goya became a court painter to the Spanish Crown in 1786 and this early portion of his career is marked by portraits of the Spanish aristocracy and royalty, and Rococo style tapestry cartoons designed for the royal palace.

He was guarded, and although letters and writings survive, little is known about his thoughts. He suffered a severe and undiagnosed illness in 1793 which left him deaf, after which his work became progressively darker and pessimistic. His later easel and mural paintings, prints and drawings appear to reflect a bleak outlook on personal, social and political levels, and contrast with his social climbing. He was appointed Director of the Royal Academy in 1795, the year Manuel Godoy made an unfavorable treaty with France. In 1799, Goya became Primer Pintor de Cámara (Prime Court Painter), the highest rank for a Spanish court painter. In the late 1790s, commissioned by Godoy, he completed his La maja desnuda, a remarkably daring nude for the time and clearly indebted to Diego Velázquez. In 1801 he painted Charles IV of Spain and His Family, also influenced by Velázquez.

In 1807, Napoleon led the French army into the Peninsular War against Spain. Goya remained in Madrid during the war, which seems to have affected him deeply. Although he did not speak his thoughts in public, they can be inferred from his Disasters of War series of prints (although published 35 years after his death) and his 1814 paintings The Second of May 1808 and The Third of May 1808. Other works from his mid-period include the Caprichos and Los Disparates etching series, and a wide variety of paintings concerned with insanity, mental asylums, witches, fantastical creatures and religious and political corruption, all of which suggest that he feared for both his country's fate and his own mental and physical health.

His late period culminates with the Black Paintings of 1819–1823, applied on oil on the plaster walls of his house the Quinta del Sordo (House of the Deaf Man) where, disillusioned by political and social developments in Spain he lived in near isolation. Goya eventually abandoned Spain in 1824 to retire to the French city of Bordeaux, accompanied by his much younger maid and companion, Leocadia Weiss, who may or may not have been his lover. There he completed his La Tauromaquia series and a number of other, major, canvases.

Following a stroke which left him paralyzed on his right side, and suffering failing eyesight and poor access to painting materials, he died and was buried on 16 April 1828 aged 82. His body was later re-interred in the Real Ermita de San Antonio de la Florida in Madrid. Famously, the skull was missing, a detail the Spanish consul immediately communicated to his superiors in Madrid, who wired back, "Send Goya, with or without head."[2]
