Quoting: Vision Thing Yeah. I've seen you on other threads, Taco and Agent 84. I mentioned the Chainlink life price chart looking good. It recently exploded. Did ya get any? Also, of the opinion, us lay people can watch all the videos we can but our knowledge of the use case will be limited until we see mass crypto adoption and experience hands on utility. Just become familiar with the basics. And when the winners are selected by the power brokers you will be ready to jump. |

I'm heaviest into XRP and added more and more XLM. But I hedged my bets by diversifiying into ADA, XTZ, BCH, ZIL. Maybe something else too. I've been thinking about the risky nature of this and concluding that I can't afford not to take the risk. I had some extra income and some savings and haven't been spending any money at all. So the opportunity was there, wouldn't have thought it was possible. Today I was just thinking of a short term cashout plan to cash out a year of minimal expenses with a fraction of what I've got into it and hold on to the rest, and work on starting a business, I'm halfway there but my job is sucking all my energy. Now who knows if I'll even have a job to go back to when all this is over, if it's ever over. So I think I'm wise taking a risk. And it's true I don't really need to know how any of this works. But I'm trying to go with the most utility and real world application. Crazy4Cryptos youtube channel has probably been the most truly useful information I've found. This guy I posted above I'm watching for entertainment and I like his philosophy or point of view about all of it and his sense of humor. Hope you are doing well! Crazy4Cryptos called Link and Ziliqa. I missed out on the tech stocks, so for me too, it's a risk/hedge I won't miss. I got XRP first because of the hype. Then XLM, Link, Tezos, and ETH. I have BTC on a Robin Hood EFT. I really believe Lumens is the one. As far as utility VET (Vechain) is looking good. Didn't pull the trigger, got spooked, it more than doubled in 2 weeks. Many collabs like XRP. Good luck! |

You will be hard pressed to find a crypto MORE diluted than XRP at 44 billion coins. It be definition means, the value if each coin is less, it is diluted. Put your money elsewhere. I dont mean you have to sell it all, but it in the end will not be your best investment in crypto. One of the reasons Bitcoin is so valuable is because it is one of the least diluted coins, at a count of 21 million at the most that can ever be in existence. Pay attention to dilution, it is not your friend, it is your enemy when investing. |

Pay attention to dilution, it is not your friend, it is your enemy when investing. It's definitely a factor to keep in mind. Ripple has been holding back billions of XRP in escrow and releasing them incrementally to manipulate the price downward (or so some say). I guess it depends on whether the things people think but don't just come out and say, might be true, that Ripple XRP is intended to encompass "All the Money". In which case even if there is 44 billion of them, they would have to be greatly inflated in price to equal the entire world's money supply in all currencies. I don't know much about it. But for the amount I have in, I can handle the risk/reward ratio. And, I did diversify as much as I could, and it seems like my timing was right, just before this recent uptick in a lot of the altcoins. Thanks for your contribution to the discussion! This is all new uncharted territory but apparently at the highest levels of banking and government it is going mainstream. I heard today that only 1/10th of 1% of the population (of the world?) is invested in cryptocurrency. Don't know if they meant the US or the world. |

If I do well with it I could do a lot of cool projects that could help a lot of people. I had a business before so I know what I'm capable of. I'm not getting any younger and I feel like I'm running out of time. The Unstoppable Domains is a new thing that is very interesting. I'm typing on my phone and can't get into the pay id, the direct chat, the blockchain domains but I did buy some domain names for myself for future web sites. I like learning new things, it's cool that all this also totally new as well as being new to me. |
