It's less deadly than the flu. One reason death numbers are even as high as they are is because a few select governors passed mandates that forced corona patients into nursing homes with people who are already susceptible to infection.

Another reason is that many deaths that are not even associated with coronavirus are being listed as caused by corona.

Testing is also not reliable. Do a little research on the PCR testing they are using and you'll find that it's not an accurate tool for gauging infection numbers. Also research serology testing and you'll find it's not an accurate gauge, either.

Yep. Our school district (daughter sophomore/me substitute) sent out a survey about what parents wanted and staff wanted for the school year. 80% of parents want in-person school. A majority don't want masks. School is going to be a hot mess.
