I’ve been there Op, terrible feeling and the worst part is all you want to do is gamble more to gain back your losses.

My best advice is to stop gambling all together for the time being, you may feel shitty now but it’s nothing compared to how you will feel losing another 5 grand trying to make back your original losses.

With time you will start to feel better and move on, and while 9k isn’t pocket change, it is not life ruining. Some people have completely ruined their lives gambling, losing houses, cars, and even family trying to chase that next winning hand, instead of just cutting their losses.
