You know it's funny, this "they're both two sides of the same coin", and "voting does not matter" mantra seems to be overwhelmingly targeted at the right wing. If you go to a leftist forum and try to tell them that voting is a waste of time, you will be attacked and banned very quickly.

If our enemies aren't omnipresent and do not already control everything, then voting still has meaning - and since voting only takes a few minutes of my time, I really do not lose much in taking the chance.

...but even if we accepted that the politicians of the left and right are both puppets, the people who vote for leftist candidates and believe in leftist ideals are very different from those who believe in right wing ideology. Leftists are scum.

So, even if it was just to elect a right wing figurehead, I would still do so because it makes an important statement about what we the people want.

Finally, even if both sides of the isle are puppets, those who control them still have to maintain the appearance of two separate parties or the illusion will break down even in the minds of the "average Joe". So, electing a right wing candidate forces them to slow their plans to maintain that illusion.

Trump was chosen because they knew people were getting upset and waking up and would want a candidate who's an outsider and not a politician who will bring big change... enter Trump!

If Trump is doing big things behind the scenes, that's great. I have seen some of it that is. However of course almost nothing he promised has come true.

Looking through the first page, it seems only about 6% of threads have "Trump" in their title. Most of the other threads are not about Trump - but a few people may bring up Trump in some of them.

For example, Trump's name may come up in threads discussing the actions of the filthy communist revolutionaries (AKA, BLM and Antifa). They are useful idiots - brainwashed leftist footsoldiers who are working to destroy our country from within. In those threads Trump is relevant to the topic.

Overall, I do not think that this site is inundated with too much Trump.

If anything, I think there are too many shills. They are the real problem.

I think the reason why politics has become the center of attention is because of how insane everything is getting.

A few decades ago the idea that a globalist elite wanted to take down the western world and bring about a globalist one world government was considered a fringe conspiracy - but today it's so out in the open you almost have to be blind not to see it. Things that used to be conspiracy aren't even conspiracies anymore, and people are going nuts.

True, but it kind of does already exist and has for a while. There's only 2 countries left without a central bank installed.

Be careful with the world conspiracy by the way, as it is a tool that shuts off critical thinking and debate of topics by many people as they find it so incredibly far fetched that any people in this world conspire together.
