When did we stop being "just" Americans ?
When did we stop being a nation of one proud people ?
When did what you are become more important than who you are ?

African- American ? Most times it's self evident. When it's not ? ... Who gives a shit ?
Hispanic-American ? See above.
Asian- American ? See above.
Chinese- American ? See above.
Latin- American ? See above.
____- American ? See above.

Possibly the only group who merits a descriptor might be the "Native"-Americans.

America will be healed only when we are all "just" Americans again.

Until then, please address me as a "Polish-Italian-English-American".

Or I will sue.

And God help us, with the "proper" lawyer I would probably win.
