2011 reference to Adrenochrome in a TV show
Even though the Hollywood Adrenochrome story has gained traction only in the last few years, just came across a reference to it in a Showtime comedy from 2011.

The sit-com "Episodes," starring Matt LeBlanc is about a husband and wife writing team whose British sit-com is rebooted in the U.S. The show is not kind to Hollywood, which is great. I'd never heard of the show, but it's available on Netflix and stumbled across it.

At the 10:40 mark in episode 5, two of the characters are talking about how one of the actresses on the show looks so young, even though she's a lot older. One of the characters asks the other how she does it, and she answers "I've heard injections. Some kind of serum made from Chinese babies."

So yea, Hollywood knew all about it, and was putting it in their content 10 years ago.

The show aired for 5 seasons on Showtime, and is on Netflix now.
"Peace in our time? All it took was everybody about to die."

“The way I see it, there’s only three kinds of people in this world. Bad ones, ones you follow, and ones you need to protect.”

Here's one from 2007

But as Lewis and Hathaway soon discover, Linn was not always so respectable. As an undergraduate, he was a member of The Sons of the Twice Born, a hedonistic group that aspired to the principals of Dionysus, and who once killed in an attempt to experience the ultimate drug: Adrenochrome, found in the human adrenal gland. Dean Greely was also a member.
