$1200 is not going to do it for me. I want a recurring monthly check starting in Aug. 2020, for the duration of the plan-demic and for a year afterwards if not more. It will depend on the stats, just like old Mitch says. I will settle for $1200 a month but $2000 would be much better. If the Republican Senate can not deliver, I will not be voting Republican for anything but Trump. I've decided that since the lobbies and businesses can pay for what they want in the Congress and Senate halls and no one asks me, who those mofos are suppose to be representing, not the lobbies and big business, in passing stupid laws... As I'm not one of those that are getting the $10,000 extra on unemployment, they ain't paid me shit but a measly $1200 and it's not going to cut it. It's not like a lot of the jobs that were lost are coming back.. a lot of the jobs lost will hire laid off employees first.. So there are still millions of people that won't have work to return to in the first place..

Pelosi said today that anything less than half of the $600 unemployment benefits not extended, that the House wont even take up this bill for a vote. Just like McConnell hasn't taken up their votes. So that would mean no stimulus checks, no extra loans, no money for the schools, exc exc.

I just heard some people talking yesterday about how much they NOW have in the bank not having to work. Yet I worked even while on my death bed until I couldnt work anymore and we get crap, or those still working no extra money.
