Probably because humans are too dumb and passionate, and you are a very fine example of that with your "I prayed very hard to aliens to ask them to show themselves to me and they did". Literally conditioning yourself, fooling yourself.

I give a shit. I'm sure a lot of people do, but what can they do about it?

I've believed in this stuff my whole life. Read old books my dad gave me when I was a little kid that were written in the 60s, grew up within 20 miles of Wright Patt AFB and the stories of frozen aliens and crashed saucer parts stored in Hanger 18. All that stuff.

All that FLIR footage from military planes is really cool. CMDR Fravor's story sounds pretty legit. Travis Walton and Bob Lazar sound like they're telling the truth. etc etc etc

I enjoy UFOlogy as almost a hobby, but not a religion. It's given me an interest in the tech... the possibilities. The "what if"s.


Just because Tucker Carlson said it on Fox, doesn't impress me. I like the guy, don't get me wrong, but wake me up when they've got something to actually show me.

Here's the thing. As best I can tell, the Pentagon hasn't said the craft were "not of this Earth", that was Harry Reid, the senator from Nevada. Just a guy, as far as I'm concerned. His words, not the Pentagon. Granted, I don't think this tech is produced on Earth, but it's an important distinction, and it keeps getting bandied about on the news as if it's an official Pentagon statement.
