Asteroid Impact Possible Sooner Than You Think
A friend sent me an article from [link to www.earthchangesmedia.com]

Here are some interesting statements from the article -
Asteroid Impact Possible Sooner Than You Think
by Mitch Battros - Earth Changes Media

Dr. Schultz is a Planetary Geologist professor at Brown University and NASA contractor. In our ECM interview, Dr. Schultz reminds us there are "dark asteroids we have a difficult time spotting, and these could be in the larger range of 1 kilometer of more". In their recently released study, Schultz and his team believe one or more asteroids hit in North America approximately 12,900 years ago. The impacts were so large it changed the Earth's climate instantly, killing off several species, including man.

I did ask Dr. Schultz who he thought would be the one to find the next near-hit asteroid. Dr. Schultz: "I believe it will be from the amateur community. These are the people who have found most of the 50 percent plus discovered asteroid's measuring 1 kilometer or larger."

I then asked about the odds of keeping a possible Earth impact event secret. Dr. Schultz: "That would be just about impossible. It will most likely be found by some private enthusiast and word travels pretty fast in the amateur astronomy community. Yes, NASA has set up a "clearing house" related to NEO's (near earth orbits) and all astronomers, amateur and professional, are suppose to disclose their find before releasing publically their information, but it would be impossible to hide or keep secret any such event".

What the backyard star gazers see the "experts" will not be able to hide.

Maybe coming to a yard near you? Seal 6 of Revelation perhaps?

Why the hell would someone have to go through a bunch of government cover-up experts? If this is a free country then they should be able to announce whatever they want to about what they see in space.

Re: Asteroid Impact Possible Sooner Than You Think
I posted this because here at GLP we are told the "amateur commnunity" would NOT see anything worthwhile, that only the professionals know what is going on, which I know is BS.

That's why I found Dr. Schultz's comment of amateurs finding 50% plus of asteroids so interesting.

From article:

I was wondering if any of the debunkers would show up.

Any one remember that thread a few weeks back about that HUGE astroid this amature caught on a shitty little back yard camera rig ? They posted it right here on GLP as soon as they got the image on to a PC......

We all scoffed at the image, but since reading that post I have seen hundreds of really bright shooting stars, way way above average, with one even doing a sonic boom over the ocean.

no one found it ? me neither.

Shame, they had some good pics in that thread as well of possible near earth objects that the main stream had missed.
