Trump rescinded the Obama-Biden AFFH Rule

President Donald Trump will not try again to immediately terminate President Barack Obama’s program that protects young immigrants living in the country illegally, after the Supreme Court’s decision to invalidate Trump’s first attempt make good on a crackdown that is at the core of his political identity.

Instead, officials said that the administration would conduct a “comprehensive review” of the program, known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, while it imposes new limits on the protections against deportation that have allowed about 650,000 immigrants to live and work in the country legally.

Immigrants who have already had DACA protections will be allowed to renew their status under the program for one year, rather than two, officials said. And they said that first-time applicants to the program would be rejected.


Trump’s initial move to end DACA in 2017 was blocked for more than two years by federal judges who said he had failed to provide proper justification for ending a program that allowed some young undocumented immigrants to live and work in the United States without the threat of deportation.

The Supreme Court agreed last month.

Thousands of young people who have turned 15 since the original rescission — the minimum age required to apply — had expected the government to begin accepting new applications to comply with the Supreme Court’s decision.

Why the delay, he could've ended it immediately, first day he came into office, now we're already in the fourth year of his term, or is he leaving the "end of DACA program" as his next election promise?

Whoo hoo now before all the haters jump on this I'll just let you know,
I have a dog in this hunt. Obama Ruined a perfectly fine city I grew up in by subsidizing the rent so "low income" peeps could move to middle to High income areas and WE paid for it.We had no low income housing projects but now some of what used to be high end apartment complexes are the projects now.
Now I dont have a problem with people trying to better them selves but tax dollars should not have been used to pay for it. I worked my ass off to live there. We recently had a shooting is our nicest shopping mall we have. You heard about it. White people drive to other towns to shop now. Obama paid folks to moved away from the high crime areas but they brought the crime with them to the areas without much crime. Guess the criminals got lonely. And now our city looks just like the ones THEY left.
