When even the Washington DOT are individually advising truckers to be careful if you go into Seattle under present circumstances, I would have to say, no police=no trucks.
Starve for all I care. That goes for any city that thinks that they are better off without the rule of law.
No city is an island. All cities must engage in commerce with outsides economic entities to survive. If you cannot maintain a minimum level of basic civilization, with all it's accessories, then outside civilization will not be joining in commerce with you.

Just for your information, the Seattle police have had a long long history of reckless behavior including organized crime and outright murder. So much so in fact that they have been court ordered to be babysat under the federal government for many years now. It is a Serpico level police department.

If any police department in the USA needs its budget hacked or needs to go - it is this one. It needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. It has had warning after warning after warning over decades and it has refused to make very reasonable reforms in any way - so fuck it!

This is not Mayberry and it is not the poster child police department you should be rooting for.

the problem is women in position of power.

Remember all the times you had to deal with women while on a temper tantrum and what they said was total nonsense and illogical.

Put them in position of power and when they go in their "mood", crazyness happens.

The city council is quite rational. It's filled with
minorities who are looting the pensions of white men
so they can hand it out to minorities in exchange
for votes.

It's a shame the downward spiral won't be televised for the rest of the country to see, as any journalist will be putting their life on the line by going in there. Maybe get some random Youtubers if they're not censored already. Good reporting might make the rest of the dim-controlled cities think twice before they try this experiment.

If that's true, then your options are:

1. No law enforcement

2. Federal law enforcement

3. Fire all local law enforcement and re-hire all new law enforcement

Right now, from what I've read, they are choosing option #1...which will make Seattle look like the Wild West in a very short time.

I guarantee you that if they abolish all law enforcement, Seattle will be a Mad Max zone in less than 1 year.
