Use a strong flashlight so you can see in there really well and get all the dusty stuff out. It will take a little bit of extra effort, if it's really bad. |

I don't see anywhere I could plug that in on the printer. There's just one plugin thing on the printer and it goes from the printer to the wall outlet. It's ok, I give up on it for today. I'm wondering if just uninstalling/reinstalling will help. Actually, that may not be a bad idea. Most manufacturers have great support including how to videos on their products. Many printers go into sleep mode after non-use for a period of time, it's probably in the printers settings menu and I'm betting that is where the problem is. You might also want to check your network settings for your home network and make sure the printer is listed there. Good luck. THIS! THIS! Back up documents, pictures, videos, etc. IMMEDIATELY!!! I've had a drive go south and I was damn lucky it finally worked on the 100th (or so) reboot and I was able to grab my stuff before it died again. I thought I was going to lose it all, and that's really not a good feeling! Now I only keep programs on my new hard drive, and everything else on an external drive, and an old fashioned dvd back up for family pics and videos. Really - DO IT! |
