Does anyone not use WiFi?

bought my tv 2 days ago,all wifi turned off within 1 hour of it being on.tinnitus through the roof.thank samsung,it had amplifide speaker system or my sound would have been the reason i sent it back.the idiot that rigged all new devices with blutooth should be shot.no speaker jack on the back of my new tv.
can hdmi be rigged to a speaker?

You could do over your power line with like a powerline ethernet adapter. No need for wifi but good range.

At least turn the WiFi off at night for a better night's sleep.

And don't sleep with a phone near your bed.

I dont and I pull the wifi daughter board out of the modem, bridge it, disconnect all coax's and use a wired router.
My mobo has no wifi, no bluetooth, no remote bios, no tpm module, the power from the wall is filtered.
they can fuckoff and die.

I love the power line Ethernet. But remember everything on your side of the pole transformer or vault can share a unit. We have them all over the farm. Most metal pole barns will not let wifi or phone signals in.

Wireless router is mandatory for all internet providers. You cannot get them to install without it.

I use your mom's WiFi. Her nipples are antennae.

I don't all in cat6e in my two apartments -> 7 sockets in total along with 4 switches.

Don´t use powerline.... its worse then WiFi. Each electrical wire in your home is turned into a radio transmitter due to the high-frequency transmission going through it...

PC is ethernet. Mobile on data. Kid's laptop mostly on hotspot or ethernet. I prefer to keep wifi off unless needed for some things. If you turn it off on the device, the wifi light turns off on the router. If that still means it's radiating me then I've wasted my efforts.

I've tried turning-off the WiFi, but it won't let me do it.

I switched my router to ethernet only years ago, and have slept much better ever since. I have read that our bodies perceive Wifi as light, and this interferes with melatonin production.

Also, ethernet is faster and more secure than Wifi. And you can have tons or mirrors in your apartment without worrying about blocked signal. In fact, I have purposely installed tons of mirrors on the exterior walls of my apartment in an effort to help block other people's Wifi from entering my apartment. This is no small feat, as I live in a densely populated neighborhood.

The VirginMedia instructions are a bit misleading (on purpose?) and they "recommend" that you leave WiFi turned on, but I got it figured out.

WiFi now switched off. I'm quite happy with Ethernet-only.

I use wired Ethernet old school RJ-45 style.

It is faster in my opinion. Wifi and wired are trade offs. I have a lot of wireless in my area and the interference from others causes a lot of lag. If you have the ability and resources, use wired. In some scenarios, it can be a pain to use wired but it is always fast and reliable compared to wireless.

I had wifi for 5-6 years. During that time, my houseplants never grew. When I turned it off and switched to ethernet, soon afterwards all my house plants started growing again. Nothing else was done differently. Now, if wifi affects plants that way, imagine what it might be doing to humans!
