This whole war in Syria started because Assad didn't like the terms of the original French bankers terms of the pipeline that was nearly built. Assad wanted one-half of the proceeds, when you was offered about 28%, which he agreed to earlier. Then he change his mind and so the war began.

Then Russian tried to make deals with Assad, and again, he wanted even a larger cut. Assad, has not served his people well. He made a mess of a once great country that was a neutral zone and buffer between radical Islam and the west. Even Turkey has fallen into the arms of a dictator because of Assad.

What we are doing now is stepping over a very weakly held territory, and making deals with the Europeans and Russia, who will be our allies again against the Chinese.

In the meantime, all he need to do is mopped up the mess Assad made by taking him out of his positions. Give Syria back their country, and we may even have a deal to let Turkey do it. Although, I believe that would be a mistake that will need to be dealt with later on.

In the mean time we will break the alliance with China and Russia, which is weak anyways. This deal will bring peace to the world.
