Been to a few of them this week while I was at the beach. Pretty normal, except for the staff wearing masks. Felt 100% safe. The beach was about 90% of normal, and I saw some rather large family gatherings (15-20). I'm so glad that I have lots of company with my view of the virus. Numbers are just that - numbers. I've yet to know a single soul with the virus. |

Quoting: RuhRoh Well, it's August, and I still haven't gotten covid. Maybe I have, and just don't know it? My health hasn't changed a bit - that's for certain. What have I been up to in the past 4 months? I live in Atlanta, for reference. I've been to North Carolina 3 times. Been to Florida 3 times. I've met with real estate agents, a window contactor (he shook my hand, yay!) and a whole bunch of other people. Social distancing? Ha ha. I make a point to get within three feet of people all the time when I go out. Hardly anybody notices, however. Masks? Sadly, I do wear them, but only because our governor is a nice guy and I figured I'd give it a whirl for a few weeks. I only wear them where required by a place of business - never outside! I cringe when I see people wearing them outside. Come September however, I plan on going full "Nomaske." By then, they would have been shown to have little to no effect on the spread, so I'll be able to stand my ground for not wearing a mask in public. Washing hands? I do after the bathroom...lol. Didn't wash them after touching the dirty handrail at Stone Mtn Park (several times.) If there's on place where to pick up the virus, it's there. Should I keep trying? My stance has nothing to with politics - I just don't do pandemics. If the virus gets me, that's God's decision, not mine. I'm gonna live my life like I've always been - no isolating, no staying at home, no social distancing and in three weeks, no masks. Who's with me? Same here man, no mask, no sanitizer, I shake friends and client's hands, hang out with different people, barbecues, patios, etc, not at all concerned with catching a cold, fuck this overhyped bullshit 'pandemic'. Go get tested and then you'll likely have Covid. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79172879 Exactly. People need to wake up and NOT GET TESTED. Nothing they can do for you, so why bother getting tested. Testing is what's driving this damn thing - not the virus. If people stopped getting tested, then this thing will go away like dew on a summer morning. |

I have created my own personal world which presents itself as NO FEAR....no matter what! I know who I AM and judge nothing, nor any man. I only think about the kind of world I wanted to experience. And, lo and behold, it is now my experience. Heaven is a State of Mind. I highly recommend it. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 76873815 United States 08/09/2020 04:15 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I agree, OP--it is a bunch of bullshit. I have had my mask on 3 times now because I was in a store and had to. Other than that life is normal. In April the kids kept the grandkids away for a few weeks just in case. Since then it is almost daily visits and sleepovers. Meanwhile, the nearby city is being reduced to poverty in the near future over this massive fraud. |
