Canadian Testimony, Socialist nightmare

A friend posted in another forum and said we could share this. I found it interesting.

"Canada has become a socialist nightmare. Our healthcare system is horrible and falling apart fast. It just doesn't work because we have run out of money to fund it properly. Schools system is broken which is why we have to home school our kids. Again our schools are out of money. Our green energy program has been a disaster in that we have fields of broken windmills that cost more to fix then they could ever produce electricity. It cost $0.88 a kw to produce electricity that sells for $.05 to sell. We are loosing $0.83 per kw to produce green energy. The cost of living is out of hand. The cost of food, clothing etc is outrageously high. There are lots people here who pay over $75,000 per year just to rent a place to live. 30-40 k per year is an average for a small apartment anywhere in Canada now. Many seniors can't afford to retire because of the costs of living. I know one man who is in his 90's who still has to work to survive. Taxes are outrageously high - way more than Americans pay. There are no jobs. I know people with Masters Degrees who are clerks at the local Walmart and Home depot because that is the best they can find. The Province of Ontario with a population of 13 million is the most indebted sub national state/province/territory etc in the world ( States like California and New York have smaller debt!) In fact it owes more than a number of countries. The Canadian Government has borrowed and spent so much it has been recently told that they cannot borrow anymore without dire economic consequences.... If anyone tells you liberal socialism works, don't believe them. Canada is in a horrible mess with no easy way out."
