What the Bleep do we know?

A unique scientific conference was held in San Francisco, California in March, 2005, introducing Kabbalist Rav Michael Laitman, PhD and quantum physicists William Tiller, PhD, Dr. Jeffrey Satinover, and Fred Alan Wolf, PhD. All three scientists participated in the docudrama hit, What the Bleep Do We Know? The theme of the conference was "Quantum Physics Meets Kabbalah."
This fascinating conference consisted of intense closed discussions and public presentations. Following the introduction of the participants, Dr. Laitman gave an overview of Kabbalah, explaining the structure of reality and how the substance of Creation—the desire to receive pleasure—evolves. It only took one session to create a common language among the scientists.
Later that evening, the scientists presented their specific fields of expertise in a public panel before lecturers and students from the University of California, Berkeley, and StanfordUniversity.
The next morning they returned to the discussion table. In between discussions they shared their impressions from the conference and exchanged stories of their own personal quests.
A few weeks later, Dr. Satinover attended an international congress in Israel whose theme was "The Wisdom of Kabbalah." During the congress, Dr. Laitman and Dr. Satinover discussed diverse topics such as freedom of choice, the global crisis, the family unit in the 21st century, the intensifying search for spirituality, and the future of humankind. Dr. Satinover gave a public presentation about quantum physics and its far-reaching implications.

one thing IS true OP:

thoughts CAN indeed manipulate genes and your whole physical body.

and NO, i don't know that from any weird "doctor" (not sayin' that YOUR "doctor" isn't credible...i didn't watch the video anyway...nor do i know him...)
i know this because i already made such an experience.

but you can only do that if you already achieved a certain level of spirituality...at least that's what i noticed.

so YES, it IS possible that thoughts really can change genes and your physical body...you only have to REALLY want it and have to be spiritual.

Well as I wrote, being a healer I already knew from my own experience which is why I wasn't interested in the science to begin with. However, having the science to back up experience and gnosis is truly wonderful when we are serious about facilitating change on the planet at the earliest possibility.

There is NO requirement for spirituality in this context. However, there is a requirement for people to change the way they think about themselves and others. The more positive a person becomes the more healthy they will be. What we think we create, what we believe we become.

My view of wants is the analogy of the donkey and the carrot the more you want the more you will stay wanting. Wants, needs and desires usually come from childhood conditioning and unmet needs in childhood. Sometimes people get what they want and then they don't want it, those that want will always want more. Peace of mind is the goal, for as you know peace of mind brings peace to the body, and the soul requires an inner sanctum of peace to reach its fullest potential.

So lets change the thought to positive 'intention' and 'essentials' with essentials being our purest essence.

Until that point you are making assumptions based upon your own rigid belief system. An open mind is an open heart, a closed mind is a closed heart.

The majority of the general population believes that they do, and yet fewer than one percent of mainstream academic institutions have any faculty known for their interest in these frequently reported experiences. Why is a topic of enduring and widespread interest met with such resounding silence in academia? The answer is not due to a lack of scientific evidence, or even to a lack of scientific interest, but rather involves a taboo. I will discuss the nature of this taboo, some of the empirical evidence and critical responses, and speculate on the implications.

Speaker: Dean Radin
Dean Radin is a researcher and author in the field of parapsychology. He is Senior Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences and four-time former President of the Parapsychological Association. He holds an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a masters degree in electrical engineering and a doctorate in educational psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has worked at AT&T Bell Labs and GTE Labs, mainly on human factors of advanced telecommunications products and services, and held appointments at Princeton University, Edinburgh University, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, SRI International, Interval Research Corporation, and Boundary Institute. At these facilities he was engaged in basic research on exceptional human capacities, principally psi phenomena.
